Finally Updating

Hi friends and family! I am finally updating this blog. I have been away for awhile. Sorry about that. Things have been a little crazy around the Lopez house lately. However, God is always faithful! I will just try to hit the high points since so much has happened.

First of all, Nathaniel is doing wonderful! He continues to do new things each and everyday. He is crawling, pulling up, standing some without holding on to anything, and has even taken 3 steps on his own. He is a true testimony of God's love and faithfulness. As many of you remember, the doctors told us that he would be wheelchair bound for the rest of his life. Ha! God always has the last word! God has promised us that Nathaniel would be healed. He proves His word to be true everyday!

Now, info about our other children:
Kaitlyn will be turning 13 pretty soon. She is almost as tall as her mom. She is a beautiful young woman whom God has blessed with a beautiful voice. She loves music and writing songs. We know the Lord is going to use her greatly! She also is a wonderful big sister to her 4 younger siblings.
Destini will soon be hitting the double digits! She will be turning 10 next week. She has grown leaps and bounds. She has a precious heart and an extremely strong will. Some would think that those two qualities contradict each other. They don't and we can see how God is going to use her to be a great leader. She doesn't back down to anyone. Once she sets her mind on something she is like a pit bull. Ha! We pray that the Lord will help us mold that special gift of tenacity into a special weapon for the kingdom.
Isabella is the heart in our family. She has a very tender spirit. She is compassionate for others. She loves to help and learn new things. She also loves to read, write, and enjoys school. It is nice to have one child that gets excited about learning! She has a servants heart and we know the Lord will use her to restore those who are hurting.
Zachary is, as many of you know, our first miracle child. The Lord healed him instantly at birth. He has such a joy for the Lord! He brings laughter and joy into our family. He loves to dance and worship God. He is full of energy. We can't wait to see how God is going to use him to bring His joy and light to others!

Now that I have covered our kids, let me tell you what God has been doing in our hearts. In August we felt the Lord calling us back out West. This was confirmed 2 weeks ago when the company Robert had been working for, closed its doors. He had been employed there for the past 8 years. We have been in super charged mode trying to pack and get the house ready to sell. We know God is working and moving. We know He is faithful! Even though Robert is out of work and we haven't found another job yet, we know this is all somehow part of God's plan. Things will happen when they are suppose to. In the mean time we are just trying to be prepared. We can't wait to see where this journey will end! Thanks for your prayers. We love you all. I will try to be more faithful with the updates. (at least once a week) Stay tuned and see the Lord's faithfulness unfold!
