Soooo Frustrated!

Please give me a moment to vent before I actually update everyone on Nathaniel's progress. I am sooo frustrated! We went today hoping that the ENT would be able to run the tests. They will not be able to get to him until Tuesday of next week. I understand completely that there are other children who need tests also. However, it is very frustrating to me that Nathaniel can not come home until he is taking a bottle, and he can't take a bottle until these tests are run! So everyday, his health improves but his release date keeps getting pushed back! I am just about ready to take a sleeping bag and camp out on the floor of the NICU! Aaahhhh! Ok, thanks for letting me vent. :0)

Now, the report on Nathaniel is great. He is doing very well. He is being fed breast milk through a feeding tube in his nose. His little tummy is doing just fine with the breast milk and so is his colostomy. They are even talking about taking the pic line out possible tomorrow. So, other than the feeding tube he will not have any more wires or lines attached to his little body. This is all wonderful. We are just waiting to bring him home. Please pray it will be soon.

Hi Marcia, this is Stacie Boyt. I know it can be very frustrating when someone else has control over everything that is happening. You feel helpless. But take heart in this one thing. I know that God will get sooo much glory from everything. Not just for what He has done and is doing in Nathaniel but also for what He is doing in you. We love you all and are praying for the entire Lopez clan.
